Grade 8 Bio questions

I have 2 questions
Energy (intake)--> P(intake) --> ATP --> Energy(release)--> P--(release)> ADP--> (back to the starting point)

This cycle is important to living organisms becasue it
1. is nonreversible process that produces energy for the cell
2. converts the potential energy of organic molecules to a form that can redily be used or stored
3. transforms ATP molecules into protein molecules that cells can use for energy
4. is the only process in cells that does not require enzymes

2. Explain the connection between the glucose produced during photosyntheis and the formation of ATP in cells.

Is the answer: ATP needs to be produced to allow glucose to enter the cell? But I thought that glucose enters the cell through diffusion...??

Help anybody?
