Do you agree with me?
Uh...anyone else share the same opinion as me?
At my new school that I'm going into next year, we're going to have four class groups:
College Prep. (class for kids who are slower than others)
Accelerated (normal class)
Honors (advanced class)
Advanced Honors (even more advanced class)
Is it just me or is Advanced Honors sort of useless? LOL. I mean, if you have an ADVANCED class, why have a more advanced class?

LOL. It's OK. It's some class placement thing.
Those are just the categories where we're separated into. I just don't understand why the school needs two advanced classes...

Re: Uh...anyone else share the same opinion as me?
I think I get it now! They have honors for the kids who are smart, and advanced honors for people who are really smart! It's confusing, but in a way, it does make sense

Re: Uh...anyone else share the same opinion as me?
It is confusing.
I already thought "accelerated" was advanced, but that's the normal class.
I saw some kids asking what classes they got in...and one said that they were in the "advanced class" and another person said that they were in the "advanced advanced class". LOL.
It just makes it more confusing...and not a lot of people are in it either. I've only seen two people say that they got in the Advanced Honors classes.
And...it only has Advanced Honors for English... So, that makes it even more confusing.

At my school it's kind of the same, and I think it makes sense
It's:
ESOL or something like that (for kids with disabilities)
Regular (for regular kids)
Advanced
Gifted (more advanced than advanced)
And I'm in Gifted

Re: Uh...anyone else share the same opinion as me?
Nope, sounds clear to me. In my school, we have a:
-Class for the slow people
-People who don't understand it/ work on last year's stuff
-People who are just right for the grade
-People who can do some more things for their age
-People who are gifted
