It's that time again!

UGhh!! Our DSTP start today (Delaware state testing program) but at least no homework and we get a snack. I hate the writing portion. Today and tomorrow is math then on Monday and tuesday it's reading and thursday and friday is writing. Writing is the worst part.

I don't like any kind of testing, especially the PSSAs (PA Standard State Assessment or something like that). Mine is coming up soon and I dread it. I always do terrible on the writing part because I am so nervous. The rest of it I do pretty good on.

That kind of sounds like our DSTP. Our math is done and it was really, I mean really easy!

Well if you guys need any help just ask us questions in the Homework Help section (thou, you can't ask while you take the test so I don't know if it will be much help)

I'm good at writing but I am bad at writing to prompts that I've had short notice on. I would ask for help in homework help, but I never know what prompt I'm going to get. I like to have things planned out ahead of time, and that's when I can write good essays.

Well for writing I'm definitely going to need the extended time after lunch because our teacher says we should take 45 minutes for just our prewriting! Anyways, I am okay but only if I take a long time to do it.

I had EQAU last year it was horrible but if it anything like what we had it is mostly multiple choice and simple stuff

Ours is like half multiple choice and half extended responses. But it was really easy.

Same with mine.

Yeah, well good night we have to got to bed early because of the DSTP tomorrow. Even some of the teachers think it is a pain, well good night!

I know my sis has it tomorrow, and I think I have mine thursday. I dread it! I usually do pretty good, but I hate doing it anyway!

I always do good but I hate it too and ours lasts a week and a half!

You lucky!! We don't have any March break, only Winter, Spring and a long summer one!

The test was hard today. I barely had enough time to finish it! But I think I did okay...

My sister had hers today. Mine is in two days...

Well what was the worst part

For me the worst part is the text based writing prompt which is tomorrow.

Thanks! I had to go to extended time, and most of the honors kids except like five did too and like half of the whole eigth grade had to!! I was shocked, and I thought it was just me!

on my EQAO I was the only one how had to stay in at recess to finish the writing

That stinks, today is stand alone prompt, I'm better at that than at the text based but it takes me longer!
