Hogwarts Story - Part 1 of Year 1

Pollytoad:
Cassidy walked into the Gryffindor commonroom. She
had just been sorted along with a bunch of other students and was very
happy to be in Gryffindor. Everyone so nice! She would have liked to
have been in Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff as long as she didn't get
Slytherin, but thankfully she didn't.
She flopped down on one of the squashy arm chairs and stared into the warm fire.

Maggalina:
Hello, I'm Sybillea. my mom liked her divination teacher so much she almost named me after her." Sybillea said.

Cassidy blinked, "Uh...Hi, that's....interesting...I guess...I'm Cassidy." She told her twirling some of her long red hair.

"Hi Cassidy, what are you? Do you have any siblings at hogwarts? Is it bad to be muggle-born?" Sybilla inquired.

"Well," She started to say, "I'm Half-Blood and no, I only have a
younger brother who is still too young to come." She thought a minute,
"And no I don't think it's bad, I mean, I don't see why it would." She
smiled, "Do you have any siblings at Hogwarts or any at all?" She asked.

"No, none at hogwarts, I'm the youngest of six and the only one who got a letter." Sybilla answered

"Hmmm....I guess your lucky then, I thought I wouldn't go...but then it
was because the owl was old." Cassidy told her and yawned, "I'm going
to bed, see you in the morning!"

"See you," Sybilla yawned, " I guess yawns are contagious."

"Yeah, 'Nite." She yawned again, climbing up the stairs to her bed.

"Nite" sybilla yawned, and giggled she knew she made a friend.

6 PM on the next day

Cassidy was just finishing up her dinner in the Great Hall. She loved the food the house-elves cooked.
"Mmmmmm.....!"

"I wonder who makes all the food, do students?" Sybilla asked.

"No, they have, like, a hundred house-elves working in the kitchens!" She told her, "They make the best food!"

"I read about house-elves they live in large manors right?" Sybilla questioned.

"Yeah, I think so.." She replied.

Kelly hurried into the great hall, out of breath, and pink in the face. she sat down next to Sybilla, "hi, my name is Kelly
whats yours?"

"My name is Sybilla, I don't remember you being sorted."

After breakfast, the next day, Cassidy made her way to class. She had Potions first, with Professor Snape.

Sybilla sat down to a rushed breakfast just as cassidy was leaving.' What class do you have first?"

"Oh, hey Sybilla." Cassidy greeted her, "I have Potions first."

Kelly just finished breakfast and started on her way to the dungeons for Potions with Professor Snape.

"So do I and I think Kelly does to. Isn't that awesome?" Sybilla said

"Yeah!" Cassidy smiled, "We better go now, we don't want to get detention."

"I hear Snape is harsh."Sybilla whispered.

"Yeah, he is." She hurried into the dungeons and took a seat in the corner.

Sybella looked around but couldn't find an empty seat anywhere in the dungeon.

Cassidy waved her over, "I saved you a seat," She whispered.

Snape gave her a mean stare and said "No whispering in class, 5 points from Gryffendor."
Cassidy glared at him.

"Sorry... professor Snape sir." Sybilla stuttered

Snape gave her a sneer then went back to teaching.

"I don't understand what a bezorre is, Cassidy. Help." Sybilla whispered to Cassidy

Cassidy fliped open her book and scanned the page, then read out loud
(not too loud) "A bezore is a stone pulled from the stomach of a goat."
She told her.

"Ew, do we need that in potions?" Sybilla questioned.
"Miss Mclongy, need i must keep reminding you to not whisper or shall I take 50 points from Gryffindor?" Snape sneered.
"No... No sir.' Sybilla stuttered again
"Don't talk back to me. 50 points from Gryffindor for cheek." Snape yelled
Sybilla's eyes welled upi with tears.

"You big mean git!" Cassidy cried at him, he gave her a look of loathing.
"Detention, Miss Finn." He said, "Wait after class."
The bell rang and Cassidy stuffed her stuff into her bag and sat there.

Sybilla wanted to comfort her friend but Snape pushed her out the door.
She stood and listened nothing happened but then the headmaster came
and brought her to class.

Cassidy waited, and when everyone was gone snape turned to her.
"Now,"
he said in a amused voice, "You will clean off all the grime off the
tables and then wash this floor with a toothbrush. All without magic."
Cassidy didn't say anything. She just stood there.
"Meet me here Saturday, at 8 pm. Do not be late." and he swept out of the room.

Sybilla ran to her friend she hadn't gone to class so she knew she
would have to fake a cold to go to Madame Pomphrey. she heard what
Snape said and decided it was time to check out the school library for
some spells. " Let's go to the library." Sybiila said.

Kelly ran up to Sybilla and Cassidy "I can't believe you guys got Detention and lost 50 points from Griffindor already!
that mean git! through I heard he can turn pretty evil, so ya better watch out in his class" Kelly said darkly

"Hi Kelly, I haven't seen you in a while. How have you been?" Sybilla questioned

"oh, well I've been around, been busy with homework and stuff" said Kelly
